Commercial Electricians are individuals who are employed to perform the work of an electrical engineer, but may have additional qualifications and certifications. Below is some information on the different types of commercial electricians.

The Brighton and Horsham Electrician Society holds a Regular Congress which brings together local electricians from throughout the community. Each year, Brighton hosts the Electro-Electrical Installation Show. At this show, you will see electricians from throughout the UK and beyond performing exciting and new electrical work. In addition to all of the exciting electrical work, you will also be able to meet other individuals who share your passion for electricians. As participants or panel leaders, you will have the opportunity to mingle with businesses, as well as professionals, to exchange information on electrical safety, maintenance, and efficiency. In order to participate in the Brighton and Horsham Electrical Safety Congress, you must have a current Commercial Electrician’s License.

There are many categories of electricians, including general contractors and commercial/industrial electricians. General Contractors are people who are employed by electricians, but are not permitted to carry out electrical work. Commercial/Industrial electricians are persons who are permitted to carry out all or part of the work of a general contractor, under the supervision of a licensed electrician. Each category of electricians has its own set of qualifications. Some of these qualifications can be found on the Business Licensing Branch’s website.

Commercial Electrician Brighton and Horsham is part of the Electricians of England ( EE) – an organization that represents more than half of the United Kingdom’s commercial electricians. All of the Brighton Electricians are members of the Commercial Electrician’s Association of England (CEA). There are two main categories of electricians in the Brighton and Horsham area. One type of electrician works with lighting; therefore, the Brighton Electrician’s job description will generally mention lighting. The second type of electrician works with domestic electric work such as domestic wiring. This type of electrician is most likely to be a property engineer, meaning that they will be responsible for installing domestic electric work within residential properties. It should be noted that they may also install commercial electrical work within commercial properties.

In order to become a qualified electrician in the Brighton and Horsham area, you must hold a Professional Licence (or an Electrician’s License if you work from home). If you hold a Professional Licence then you can trade in the UK without holding a Professional Liability Insurance policy. If you wish to trade in the UK then you must be licensed and keep your licence up-to-date at all times. To keep your licence up-to-date, you must apply for re-licensing on a regular basis, which usually requires re-licensing every four years.
